FSK10219 Certificate I in Skills for Vocational Pathways

This qualification is designed for individuals who need skills to prepare for a vocational pathway qualification or further foundation skills development

It is suitable for individuals who require;

  • a pathway to employment and further vocational training

  • reading, writing, oral communication, learning and numeracy skills primarily aligned to the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) Level 2

  • entry level digital technology and employability skills

  • education, training and employment goals.

To obtain this qualification students must successfully complete the required assessment tasks.

COURSE STRUCTURE

  • Face-to-face delivery

  • Off-campus activities

DURATION

  • 30 Weeks part-time [can be completed earlier]

  • Face to face class time 12 hrs p/wk 

  • Study time up to 8 hrs p/wk


FEES / FUNDING
Fees range from: $0 [for eligible funded students] up to $3,000.00

STUDENT INFORMATION

Minimum requirements for this course:

  • Must be a minimum of 15 Years

  • Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) at a Year 10 high school level

  • Provide photo ID prior to course commencement

  • A computer with internet access [If you don't have this, please contact us to discuss possible solutions]

  • Technology skills to access and navigate the internet

  • The ability to create, open and save electronic files

  • Some experience using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite

  • Confidence to work independently
